Introduction to Nutrition After Loss

Nutrition after loss can be another one of those emotionally sensitive issues. There are a million emotions and thoughts pulsing through a woman’s brain and body. She might feel disconnected from her body and not know how to nourish herself. She may also feel angry with her body and not want to nourish her. “I gained all this weight for no reason and I still have to eat?” She might not feel either of those, instead she may feel too sad to shower, let alone eat.

Immediately after loss doesn’t have to be the time mull over, or make a decision about whether or not a woman wants to try and conceive again. No matter what a woman’s decision around trying again will be, she deserves to find balance and hormone harmony again. And we’ll start there.
