The Reality is…Loss Happens.

I pray no woman loses their baby, but loss happens.

It’s an odd kind of whiplash.

At first, “WOW CONGRATS” to your face, then “what happened?” whispered behind your back. From smiles, laughter, and questions, “are you and your family excited?!” to avoiding eye contact and changing the subject.

Pregnancy is hard, can be dangerous - even with modern medicine - and devastating. I pray every woman’s pregnancy and birth is pure unicorns, rainbows and butterflies, but for many it’s not. Thankfully, there’s communities for pregnant women to get support on mindset, nutrition and exercise.

Those communities for women who’ve had a loss are slim. One moment they belong, the next they don’t. Gently shoved aside, “I don’t want to look or think about that, that’s what can happen when things go ‘wrong’”

This is the community. The space for women who want to learn about wellness, hormone balance, nutrition and exercise after loss. We look each other in the eye and say, “there’s hope, a reason to go on and you deserve to be cared for, too.”
